Introducing Talent Talks, our new podcast

We know the way our members are consuming content is changing and in response, we want to offer you useful content that you can access on the go. Our podcast, Talent Talks is brought to you in association with Her Future Bright and supported by Embark Group.

Talent Talks has been created in association with ‘Her Future Bright,’ a podcast created by Chanelle Pattinson. Chanelle’s podcast came about as a result of her own journey into financial services and sharing the conversations she was having with inspiring women. WiAS wanted to create its own podcast and decided to join forces with Chanelle to create a new one, and Talent Talks was born! “Working together enables us to extend our reach across financial services and deepen our engagement with the growing WiAS audience,” said Kate Webber, Founder of WiAS.

We hope you enjoy this podcast and share it with your friends and colleagues as we highlight the experiences, challenges, and successes of women in financial services. Our hope is this podcast can help to make the world of financial services available to more women (and men) and to help you navigate the career challenges women may face in their working lives.

Meet Your Podcast Hosts

Chimmy Ngoma

Chimmy sits on our WiAS advisory board and has been a driving force behind curating the podcast. Season one kicks off with Chimmy focusing on ‘Finding Your Voice,’ using the name of the WiAS annual event where she talks to those involved with the event and the benefits public speaking can present.

Chanelle Pattinson

As a seasoned podcaster, Chanelle will host Season Two of Talent Talks with a theme of ‘Finding Your Way’ whatever stage you are in your career – returner, graduate, entry level role, or semi-retirement.

Laura Mann

Laura also sits on our WiAS advisory board and is a long-time member of WiAS and will host Season Three of Talent Talks with a theme of ‘Finding Your Financial Independence’ talking about the female Pension Gap and the importance of bringing women into the investment landscape.
